Skills Development: Production

Since studying media at AS, I feel that my production skills have improved vastly; I have better knowledge of shot types and which ones to use appropiately. Although a music video does differ from a thriller opening, most of the production process is similar. Planning our idea and coming a to consensus was a problem; however we did overcome this by working together.

I have learnt the ways in which a music is filmed - using base tracks. I found that this is sometimes a lenthy process compared to shot-by-shot filming in movies. But, I do prefer to use base tracks as a form of filming and is slightly easier to create.

I am looking forward to reviewing the footage and editing the music video in the coming weeks.
